Ford is a worldwide famous auto producing company. Nowadays it has its representative companies in 30 countries in all parts of the planet. They include manufacturing institutions as well as large trading and constructor centers. Ford annually produces about 70 different models of its vehicles. These cars include such famous brands as Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Jaguar и Aston Martin. In addition company owns a part of shares of such giants as Kia Motors and Mazda Motor Corporation. Nowadays Ford takes the 4th place of amount which was produced throughout the whole history of the brand after GM, Toyota and Volkswagen.


Ford was the first company which started to use in-line assembly. It helped to produce one auto in 10 seconds. Firstly monthly salary was announced to workers. By the way it was twice higher than average salary around the country. The company was also first to invent seats with auto mechanical regulation which was available in four direction. These are very few things which Ford was first to introduce. 1917 was a starting point for producing trucks and tractors. Ford also conquered boat building industry and constructed first of its 196 airplanes.

After the Second World War grandson of Henry Ford became the head of the company. He managed to give it a new lease of life after the crisis. However the company was suffering from different problem. They had to reorganize producing into the civil branch in the hard competition as other brands started gaining popularity on the market of auto producing. Fortunately for Ford grandson of the founder of the company was very successful. He coped with all the difficulties and during this period of time more than 80 000 cars were sold. Ford was taking back its leading positions.
